Firefighters tackled a blaze that spread across about three hectares of heathland and woodland overnight.

Crews were called to the fire off Hammer Lane, Headley, near Bordon in East Hampshire, on Monday evening.

Firefighters worked to put out the fire overnight using specialist wildfire vehicles, 4x4s and a water carrier along with beaters and hose reels.

The fire service had advised those in the surrounding area to keep their windows and doors closed due to smoke. The fire was extinguished by about 14:00 BST on Tuesday.
