A cash machine has been stolen from a supermarket following a ram-raid.

Cambridgeshire Police was called just before 02:30 BST on Saturday to the Co-op on Ely Road, in Sutton, near Ely.

A spokesperson for the force said a digger was used to gain access to the store.

"It is believed around six men, all dressed in black, arrived at the location in two vehicles," they said.

Part of the store, which is still open, has been boarded up and anyone with information, including dash-cam and ring-door bell footage, has been asked to contact the police.
