Cash machine ripped out of town store
ContributedA cash machine has been stolen after it was ripped out of the front of a shop.
Hertfordshire Police said it was called to Whitehouse Convenience Store on Whitehorse Street, Baldock, at about 03:40 BST.
The force said four men wearing balaclavas "caused significant damage to the front" and "stole an ATM".
A JCB telehandler, a flatbed truck and a white Audi were believed to have been used in the raid.
ContributedThe incident also resulted in a grey Nissan Micra being left on its side.
Hertfordshire Police have appealed for anyone with any information to get in touch.
