CCTV shows robber hiding knives in his joggers

Police have released CCTV footage of a man hiding stolen knives in his jogging bottoms.

Kyle Cripps, 19, robbed Diamond Vapes on Bridge Street in Peterborough on the evening of 22 June, threatening a member of staff in "a terrifying ordeal", Cambridgeshire Police said.

He was arrested soon after and it was revealed he had stolen the knife from a nearby Asda just 10 minutes before the crime, the force added.

Cripps, of Charnwood Close, Fletton, Peterborough, admitted robbery and was sentenced to three years and eight months in prison at Cambridge Crown Court.
