Berkshire: local elections explained in 60 seconds

With local elections around the corner our reporter Ellie Cleverley has given a run down of what to expect in 60 seconds, whilst taking the bins out.

Councils of all levels have seats up and the result of these elections determine who holds the seats and looks after your local area.

Polling stations open at 07:00 BST on 7 May across the country and do not forget your photo ID.
