Carpenter aiming for Commonwealth Games glory
By day Tommy Teers is busy working as a carpenter constructing bookcases, fitting kitchens and building roofs.
But by night the 28-year-old trains in the gym with the aim of bringing boxing glory to Guernsey at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
"I started boxing just to keep fit and to get to this stage is crazy," Teers tells BBC Guernsey as he takes a break from training in the gym.
"I've put the hard work in and everyone around me has supported me, so I feel like it's time."
