What have been the big stories in the West this week?
The family of a Bristol builder who broke 11 ribs and suffered a brain bleed after falling from a ladder are raising awareness of the "hidden crisis" of falls at home, according to ITV West Country. Scott Blankley, 47, who fell three storeys while painting an external wall on 17 January, had to have part of his skull replaced.
Reports of pollution in the River Frome, in Somerset, caused consternation for locals after dead fish were spotted in the water near the Frome Canoe Club.
Tewkesbury Abbey called in experts from the Gloucestershire Raptor Monitoring Group to ring two peregrine falcon chicks. The process involves abseiling off the top of the Abbey tower to get to the nesting tray, putting the chicks in a bag and lowering them to a table in the tower.
A couple from Bromham, in Wiltshire, have launched an emergency food and toiletries scheme for struggling families, according to Calne News. Bail Out Boxes was founded by Marcus and Steph Griggs, who say the initiative was born out of personal experience.
And there was some stunning photography posted on Facebook showing barn owls feeding their young with mice on the Somerset Levels. Over 90 minutes the parents delivered more than eight meals to their five owlets in a nesting box.

Residents in south Bristol are trying to save a music venue which has hosted artists including George Ezra, KT Tunstall and Billy Bragg.
The Fiddlers Club first opened in 1994 and is set to be sold at auction on 17 June.
