Witness appeal after man stabbed in village

Police have appealed for witnesses after a man was stabbed in Newbold.

Derbyshire Police said a man was assaulted between midnight and 01:00 BST on Thursday in Cordwell Avenue.

The force confirmed there had been no arrests.

Officers said they would like to speak to anyone in the area that has dash cam, doorbell or CCTV footage.
