Witness appeal after pedestrian killed on A14
National HighwaysPolice have asked for witnesses to come forward, after a pedestrian was struck and killed on the A14 near Cambridge.
A white Yutong coach was travelling eastbound between Histon and Milton at 13:35 BST on Saturday when it hit a 33-year-old man.
Cambridgeshire Police said the man, from Cambridge, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the coach, a 39-year-old man from Peterborough, was uninjured, police added. Officers have appealed for anyone with information, including dashcam footage, to get in touch.
No arrests have been made.
The crash led to the road being closed for a number of hours between the Girton Interchange at junction 31, and junction 33 for Milton.
