Plans for 149 village homes approved
GooglePlans for 149 homes in a village in Nottinghamshire have been approved.
On Wednesday, Ashfield District Council gave the green light for outline planning permission for the development of land off Alfreton Road in Selston.
The 16-acre site also includes 465 sq m (5,000 sq ft) of "convenience retail" space.
The authority said at least 25% of the homes would be affordable, with 75% of those available for affordable rent and 25% for shared ownership.
A Section 106 agreement will see contributions made by the developer towards healthcare services, secondary education, special educational needs and disabilities education, as well as to local bus service improvements.
