Girl, 6, airlifted to hospital after barbecue fire

A six-year-old girl has been airlifted to hospital in London after suffering serious burns in a barbecue fire.

The child's father has also been taken to hospital after the incident.

It happened in Worth Road, Crawley, West Sussex, on Sunday evening.

Sussex Police said: "Officers attended to support the ongoing emergency response, and an increased presence currently remains visible in the area."
