Three men in court after man injured in shooting

Three men have appeared in court in connection with a shooting in Swindon.

A man in his 30s was left with life changing injuries, following the incident in Gorse Hill, on 19 June.

Dylan Anthony, 19, and Kyron Anthony, 20, both of Milton Road in Swindon, appeared at Swindon Crown Court earlier charged with attempted murder and possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear or violence.

Anthony, 20, pleaded not guilty and is due to stand trial at Swindon Crown Court on 2 November while Anthony, 19, is due to appear in court again on 28 August for a pre-trial preparation hearing.

Peter Bullock, 51, of Queens Drive, Swindon also appeared in court charged with assisting an offender.

He is seeking to have the charge dismissed and will attend a potential dismissal hearing on 24 September.

Three other people arrested in relation to the incident have been released on bail pending further investigation, police said.
