Attempted murder charge after firearms incident
Getty ImagesA 21-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder and firearms offences.
Thames Valley Police said Lewis Shaw, from Slough, has been charged in relation to a firearms incident in Earls Lane in the Berkshire town on 5 June.
He has been charged with three counts of attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Shaw has been remanded in police custody and is due to appear at Reading Crown Court on 6 July.
The force confirmed six other men have been arrested and bailed in relation to the incident.
A 19-year-old man remains in police custody on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Det Insp Liam Butler said: "We believe that there is no wider threat to the public but an increased police presence will remain in the area."
He appealed for witnesses or anyone with relevant video footage to contact police.
