Driver arrested following collision on A10

The A10 was closed between Milton and Landbeach on Saturday morning after a collision

A driver has been arrested and a motorcyclist left with serious injuries after a crash on the A10.

The collision between the car and motorbike took place near Landbeach, Cambridgeshire, at about 09:55 BST on Saturday, Cambridgeshire Police said.

A 63-year-old man from Cambridge, the driver of a Ford Focus, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by driving without due care and attention and has since been bailed.

A 65-year-old man from Welwyn Garden City, who was riding a Honda motorbike, was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge and remained in a stable condition, officers said.

The driver of the car was uninjured, the force added.

Officers has asked anyone with relevant dashcam footage or further information to contact them quoting Operation Whitebeam or incident 125 of 25 April via webchat or 101.
