Man taken to hospital after Worthing stabbing

A man has been injured after a stabbing in a West Sussex town, police have said.

The incident happened at 01:10 BST in Worthing at the junction of Shelley Road and Salisbury Road, according to Sussex Police.

The 37-year-old man was taken to hospital.

Officers have described the suspect they are looking for as being a slim man, wearing a brown t-shirt and jeans.

The force is appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
