Crews tackle 'large' field fire in Mansfield

Firefighters are at a "large" field fire in Mansfield.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was called at 15:00 BST on Tuesday to a blaze at a field in the Oak Tree area.

The service said there had been no injuries but the fire was producing a lot of smoke.

A spokesperson for the service urged people to avoid the area and to close doors as well as windows if they can see or smell smoke.
