Wildfire units and crews tackle Sneinton fire

Specialist wildfire crews have been tackling a blaze in Sneinton.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews were called to "a fire in the open" near Skipton Circus at 19:30 BST.

At its height, six fire engines and two wildfire units were at the scene but at 21:30, the fire service said all crews had now left the incident.

Local residents had been urged to keep their doors and windows closed if they were affected by smoke from the fire.
