Person in serious condition after living room fire
Eddie MitchellA person was taken to hospital in a serious condition after a fire broke out in a living room in West Sussex.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to the small fire in Ashdown Road in Worthing at about 18:45 BST on Sunday.
One person was treated at the scene before being taken to Worthing Hospital for further treatment, South East Coast Ambulance Service said.
The service added that the person was in a serious condition when they were taken to hospital.
