A section of Douglas Promenade has been reopened following a crash involving three cars that saw it closed for more than four hours.

Part of the road in the Manx capital was shut shortly before 08:30 BST after the collision near the area of the Castle Mona shops.

Isle of Man Constabulary initially expected the Central Promenade to be closed until 15:00. No further details have been released.

Bus Vannin's services were diverted via Broadway, Victoria Road, Blackberry Lane, Strathallan Road and Port Jack. Douglas Bay Horse Tramway services were also suspended for the day as a result of the disruption.
