Three people injured in police vehicle crash

Three people including two police officers have been injured in a crash involving a car and a police vehicle responding to an emergency incident.

The crash happened on St Mary's Road in Moston, Manchester, at about 10:35 BST on Tuesday, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.

A GMP spokesperson said the driver of the car and two officers from the police vehicle sustained injuries and were taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.

"At this stage, the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening," they added.

GMP said a scene remained in place while their work continued and they thanked members of the public for their patience as this was carried out.
