Plans to turn former nightclub into flats submitted
GooglePlans have been submitted to turn a former pub and nightclub in Ilkeston into flats.
Applicant Tom Paterson is seeking planning permission from Erewash Borough Council for the property at 52 St Mary Street, which documents state "may date from the early 1800s".
The proposal sets out his intention to redevelop the building into 10 flats by partially demolishing and extending the existing structure.
A previous planning application submitted in 2025 that sought permission for the change of use of the building to a 19-bedroom house in multiple occupation (HMO) was refused by the authority's planning committee.
The latest application is expected to be decided later this year.
