Violent disorder charge over anti-migrant protest
PA MediaA man has been charged with violent disorder following an anti-migrant demonstration in Portsmouth.
A large crowd of protesters gathered at Eastney Marina after a boat carrying about 120 migrants was brought ashore after crossing the Channel at nearby Eastney Beach on 6 September.
Hampshire Police said Bradley Pinnock, of Hayling Island, had been charged with one count of violent disorder.
The 29-year-old is due appear at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court later.
