Vehicles damaged in large fire at former power station

Eight lorries and trailers have been severely damaged in a large vehicle fire at a former power station in Nottinghamshire.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was called at 00:30 BST on Friday to reports of a fire involving a large vehicle at the site of the former High Marnham power station.

The service said eight engines attended the blaze with one crew remaining at the scene.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is due to take place on Friday afternoon, the service added.
