Recycling centres now hubs for pre-loved baby items
West Northamptonshire CouncilOrganisations are making it easier to donate pre-loved baby items at recycling centres for vulnerable families.
Baby Basics, based in Wollaston, Northamptonshire, has partnered with FCC Environment and West Northamptonshire Council (WNC).
They are urging people visiting certain recycling centres in Northamptonshire to donate pre-loved baby items, including clothing, toiletries, and equipment, as part of a coordinated effort to support families in need across the county.
Sarah Markham, assistant reuse development manager at FCC Environment said: "This initiative is a great example of how collaboration can deliver real benefits for our community."
Annabel Amos/BBCHousehold Waste Recycling Centres taking part include in Brixworth, Daventry, Ecton Lane, Farthinghoe, Sixfields or Towcester.
The items will be sent to vulnerable families across Northamptonshire.
