Arrest after man, 78, injured in firearm incident in Glasgow

Police were called out to Crichton Street in Springburn

A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged after another man was injured by a firearm in Glasgow.

The incident took place outside an address on Crichton Street in Springburn at about 12:40 on Thursday 28 May.

A 78-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged.

Police said inquiries were ongoing.

The 28-year-old is due to appear at court later.
