AFC Fylde were denied a victory on their return to the National League as Olufela Olomola netted a late equaliser for Wealdstone in a thrilling 2-2 draw.

Fylde goalkeeper Zac Jones made a smart save in the opening seconds before Craig Mahon's side launched a string of attacks down the other end.

Dante Baptiste denied Chris Merrie and Adam Lewis before preventing a fine solo effort from winger Danny Mayor and Danny Ormerod had a close-range effort cleared off the line.

The Coasters took a deserved lead in the 67th minute and in some style as Adam Lewis thundered an effort from 30 yards, which crashed off the post and past Baptiste.

Wealdstone hit back through Luke Norris, who converted a header from close range 11 minutes from time.

Fylde nudged ahead again as Jack Morris rounded Baptiste and poked home five minutes later but Olomola was on hand to tap in an equaliser with a minute remaining.
