Harrogate Town have signed Middlesbrough defender Archie Baptiste for an undisclosed fee on a two-year deal.
The 20-year-old joined Boro last June after coming through Tottenham's academy and made one Championship appearance.
He ended the season on loan with Rochdale but did not feature for them.
"He's eager to get that opportunity to play men's football and both parties feel it's a good fit, so hopefully he can progress and do well for himself," head of player recruitment Lloyd Kerry told the club website., external

Haydn Hollis has been named as Tamworth's head of academy coaching.
The 33-year-old has spent the past two seasons with the club as a player, helping Tamworth consolidate their position in the National League following promotion at the end of 2023-24.
In his first campaign, Hollis was part of the side that reached the third round of the FA Cup in January 2025, taking Premier League Tottenham Hotspur to extra time before losing 3-0.
Hollis played in the English Football League with Notts County and Forest Green Rovers and Tamworth said he will bring "incredible experience and knowledge to our next generation".

Woking have put Craig Ross and Jake Hyde in interim charge of the first team for a second spell following Jermain Defoe's exit.
The National League side and former England international Defoe "mutually agreed to part ways with immediate effect" on Thursday, two weeks before the start of the new season.
Player/goalkeeping coach Ross and fellow coach Hyde, who retired as a player at the end of last season, will oversee first-team operations before Woking's opening league match at home to Sutton United on 8 August.
The pair took interim charge in March following the sacking of Neal Ardley and led Woking to four wins, while their only defeat was away at eventual champions York City.
Director of football Jody Brown told the club website:, external "Craig and Jake have been an important part of this football club for a long time.
"They'll do everything to ensure the group gets to where it needs to be for the start of the season, providing the leadership and continuity we need."

Solihull Moors have taken their number of summer signings into double figures by agreeing a deal for former Grimsby defender Tyrell Warren.
The 27-year-old right-back moves on a free transfer after leaving the Mariners at the end of last season and becomes the 10th new arrival at Damson Parkway in preparation for the new campaign.
Warren began his career on the books at Manchester United and was a regular in the youth teams at Old Trafford before getting his senior breakthrough at Boston United.
After spells with FC Halifax and Barrow, he moved to Grimsby in the summer of 2024 and made 73 appearances in his two seasons, helping the club reach the League Two play-offs, in which they were beaten by Salford City.
Warren is the fifth player to join Moors this month following defender Jevon Mills, goalkeeper Nathaniel Ford, midfielder Rio Shipston and teenage striker Ben Wodskou.

Boston United have signed defender Jake Rooney after he was released by Derby County.
The 22-year-old returns to the Jakemans Community Stadium, having made 16 appearances on loan from the Rams last season as the Pilgrims finished 12th in the National League.

Harvey Macadam has signed a one-year contract extension with Carlisle United which will see him remain with the club this season.
The 25-year-old midfielder proved a big asset following his move from Morecambe last summer, scoring seven times in his 44 appearances.
Macadam will play under new head coach Rob Elliot who took over from Mark Hughes in May.

Gateshead have signed defender Jack Robinson and New Zealand Under-20 international striker Luke Supyk after successful trials.
Former Middlesbrough man Robinson, 25, has signed a one-year deal after missing the 2025-26 season through injury.
Supyk, 20, left A-League side Wellington Phoenix at the end of last season and has signed a two-year contract after scoring three times during his trial spell.

Southend United have signed forward Ryan Colclough, who was handed a suspended prison sentence for assault earlier this month.
Colclough, 31, was given a 28-month term, external - suspended for two years - after being found guilty of grievous bodily harm without intent at Derby Crown Court.
He had been without a club since leaving AFC Fylde in January and previously worked with Southend boss Kieron Dyer at Chesterfield as the Spireites won promotion to League Two in 2023-24.
The Shrimpers have also signed midfielder Tommy Backwell, 23, and 22-year-old winger Sahid Kamara following successful trials at Roots Hall.
Colclough has signed a one-year deal with the option of a further year.
Backwell has signed a one-year contract with the option of a further year after being released by Cheltenham at the end of last season, while Kamara has agreed a two-year deal with the option of a third year following his departure from Braintree Town.

Worthing have re-signed midfielder Ricky Aguiar following his departure from National League side York City.
The 25-year-old academy graduate returns to Woodside Road for a third spell after spending the second half of last season on loan at Horsham and Eastleigh.
Aguiar made 130 appearances during his previous spells with the Rebels, scoring 28 goals, and impressed during a loan return in the first half of the 2023-24 campaign, registering 12 goals and five assists before being recalled by Swindon Town.
"We are absolutely delighted to welcome Ricky back to Woodside Road," manager Adam Hinshelwood told the club website.
"He is a player with immense quality in possession and can score goals from a wide range of positions, just like he did for us in his loan spell a few years ago.
"I can't wait to be back working with Ricky on a daily basis. He adds a lot of depth to our midfield options."
Aguiar said: "Returning feels special to me, and I'm coming back with more experience and hunger.
"It's a club with big ambition and I'm proud to be a part of what's being built and excited to be back playing in front of the fans again."

Kidderminster Harriers have signed defender Zach Willis after he left Birmingham City at the end of last season.
The 20-year-old, who can play at full-back or in central defence, has been on trial with the National League newcomers after exiting St Andrew's without making a first-team appearance. The club have not disclosed details of the length of his contract.
Willis had a loan spell with Peterborough Sports in National North last season, making 17 appearances as they were relegated to the Southern League Premier Central.

FC Halifax Town have signed Stoke City goalkeeper True Grant on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old came through Manchester City's academy and was part of the side that won the FA Youth Cup in 2024.
Grant previously worked with Shaymen boss John McGrath during a season-long loan spell with National League North side Buxton in 2024-25, before joining the Potters last summer.
He is the son of former Derby County and Stoke City goalkeeper, and now Walsall boss, Lee Grant.
Halifax finished eighth in the National League last season.

Worthing FC have signed midfielder Jack Wadham on a permanent deal as he returns to the club for a third spell.
The 23-year-old has been training with the Rebels this summer and playing in pre-season friendlies as a trialist after two previous loan spells.
Wadham arrived on loan from AFC Bournemouth in January 2024 during Worthing boss Adam Hinshelwood's second stint in charge, making one appearance.
He then signed for National League Sutton United in summer 2024 making 25 appearances, before a second loan spell with Worthing, making six appearances.
Hinshelwood said: "He's a player that we know well, adds real value and is suited to our style of play, and he has that vital National League experience, which is such an important asset for our side".
