  1. Barrow bring in ex-Kidderminster winger Thompson

    Barrow have brought in winger Seb Thompson after he left Kidderminster Harriers last month.

    Thompson, 23, had made substitute appearances in the Harriers' first three league games this season before his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.

    He scored nine goals in 35 games last season as he helped Kidderminster win promotion and he has now been reunited with his old boss at Aggborough, Adam Murray.

    Thompson went straight into the Barrow squad for their match away to Worthing.

    Kidderminster Harriers have signed Shrewsbury Town striker Callum Stewart on loan.

    New boss Paul Wotton has rebuilt their squad following last season's promotion via the National League North play-offs.

    Harriers start the new league campaign with a trip to Essex to face Hornchurch on Saturday.

    Stewart, 24, has made 23 first-team appearances in his year and a half at Oteley Road from non-league Leamington - but most of them have been from the bench.

  16. Harriers sign defender Willis

    Kidderminster Harriers' club badge

    Kidderminster Harriers have signed defender Zach Willis after he left Birmingham City at the end of last season.

    The 20-year-old, who can play at full-back or in central defence, has been on trial with the National League newcomers after exiting St Andrew's without making a first-team appearance. The club have not disclosed details of the length of his contract.

    Willis had a loan spell with Peterborough Sports in National North last season, making 17 appearances as they were relegated to the Southern League Premier Central.

    Amari Morgan-Smith had two spells with Kidderminster Harriers

    Halifax Town have signed forward Amari Morgan-Smith on a one-year contract.

    Morgan-Smith, 37, has just ended a five-year spell with Kidderminster Harriers where he scored more than 50 goals and won two promotions.

    Elliot Bonds has joined Salford from Fleetwood

    Guyana captain Elliot Bonds has joined Salford City from Fleetwood Town for an undisclosed fee.

    The London-born midfielder, 26, also had spells with Dagenham & Redbridge, Cheltenham Town and Kidderminster Harriers and has signed a multi-year deal with Salford.

    Bonds joined Fleetwood in 2024 and was voted the supporters' player of the season in his first campaign before being named captain last year.

    He is targeting promotion from League Two with Salford and told their website: "I've heard great things about pre-season, the new manager and his coaching team.

    "With the team we're building, with players with heart like myself that we're signing, I think this season is one where we have to go one step further. If we stick together and everyone brings the best version of themselves, I believe we will achieve that."
