Not for the first time, Ceri Holland's athleticism makes the difference for Wales.

Liverpool's player of the season is Wales' star performer these days, and she shows why there with a superb run and measured centre for Mared Griffiths to tap home her fourth goal in 10 internationals.

That may be job done for Wales.

    Wales 3-1 Czech Republic

Wales have 15 minutes to see this game out and finish top of Group B1.

That wouldn't guarantee World Cup qualification, but it would make their play-off path to Brazil 2027 a good deal smoother.

The first few caps will have been a real learning curve for Mared Griffiths.

I agree with Rhian Wilkinson for starting her today. She has been one of Wales' best attackers and she plays with no fear.

    Mared Griffiths

Wales have a two-goal lead, and this one is all about Ceri Holland.

The right winger surges past Czech defenders and into the penalty area, where she squares the ball for Mared Griffiths to tap in.

An excellent goal, and one which tightens Wales' grip on top spot in Group B1.

Wales' Sophie Ingle cops some friendly fire, taking a ball right to the guts near the halfway line.

You could hear the impact from the stands and it sounded uncomfortable.

It's been a bit ragged the last few minutes and that ball about sums it up.

Wales will just want to settle the game a little bit.

They will want to get a foothold in the game and calm it down because the last thing they want is a frantic end to this game.

This is getting really scrappy now. Both teams tiring, neither able to keep hold of the ball for any meaningful period of time.

The Czech Republic have picked up in the last few minutes.

The front players have got to get hold of the ball for Wales here.

Ceri Holland gets Wales moving forward with a surging run down the right flank, before checking back.

Wales are in a strong position but you get the sense they need to get that third goal soon.

This nonsense of constantly playing out from the back has to stop.

It does nothing for the confidence of the Czech players.

Wales want to put this game to bed and are pressing for a third goal.

Carrie Jones is buzzing with intent around the Czech penalty area but can't quite find the killer pass.

Wales have to make sure they just look after themselves, and individuals need to make sure that they clear their lines.

    Wales have the lead!

The goal comes from a free-kick in a promising position, around 35 yards out from the Czech goal, which Ceri Holland floats into the box.

Defender Gemma Evans is unmarked and flicks a header beyond Olivie Lukasova, who rushed out, and the ball nestles into the net.

Wales are now top of Group B1 as things stand.

Wales have been quite tidy at times in possession.

But there is just that vulnerability in defence at times, and I'd just like to see someone take ownership over that.
