Reyes Cleary's goal was the first of three in nine minutes for Barnsley
Barnsley scored three times in nine minutes as they came from behind to beat Crewe 3-2 and progressed to the third round of the Carabao Cup.
Reyes Cleary and Tyrese Noslin's quickfire goals turned the game around after Adrien Thibaut had given Crewe the lead before Corey O'Keeffe added a third for the hosts.
Joel Ewusi pulled one back for the Railwaymen but the Reds survived the late scare to progress.
Thibaut opened the scoring in the 21st minute after he and Charlie McNeill combined on the counter and the Irish striker made no mistake from close range.
Cleary levelled the game in the 28th minute after capitalising on a loose ball from Luca Moore and racing in on goal before finishing well.
Noslin then put the Reds in front two minutes later as he made a late charge into the box to smash the ball home.
O'Keeffe made it 3-1 in the 38th minute with a perfect curling effort into the top corner.
McNeill rattled the post late on before Ewusi pulled one back for Crewe in the 89th minute.
Mickey Demetriou thought he had levelled in added time, but Rogan Ravenhill tipped his header onto the post.
