They've got to calm down, be patient and try and get back into this game in this half.

It's too easy for Bolton to get through with one simple pass.

The visitors haven't been able to get a foothold into this match so far and they could be on for some humiliation to start their season, against local rivals at that.

This is where you're looking at your leaders now in terms of McCann, Andrew Hughes and Liam Lindsay.

They work it around the right flank until there's space for a cross to be put in.

The volley from Chris Forino isn't super well controlled and gets blocked but Preston struggle to clear it out, leaving room for Josh Sheehan to make another attempt that rolls wide of the net.

They're looking to get a hold of this game because it's no quite happened for them in the final third.

Bolton are bursting with confidence.

Josh Sheehan unleashes a strike but it's sent way away from the target.

Preston respond straight away by rushing into the box but all their passes get thwarted by Bolton bodies and they can't sneak through a quick shot for an equaliser.
