Aston Villa are expected to complete the signings of Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Ibrahim Mbaye on deadline day.

The pair were at Villa Park to watch their new side lose 1-0 to Arsenal on Monday night.

Defender Harwood-Bellis is due to join from Southampton in a deal worth around £30m while forward Mbaye is arriving from Paris St Germain for just under £50m.

Villa boss Unai Emery said on Monday night he does not expect any more arrivals on deadline day and is happy with his squad after a summer of upheaval.

The Europa League winners sold Morgan Rogers, Ollie Watkins, Youri Tielemans, Lucas Digne, Ezri Konsa and Emi Martinez after ending their 30-year trophy drought in May.

Well, Paul, it seems there have been some movements at Villa Park.

Some new faces were spotted in the stands during last night's 1-0 defeat to Arsenal.

Arsenal youngster Ethan Nwaneri is set to join Borussia Dortmund on a straight season-long loan.

BBC Sport revealed on Monday the German side had made an offer for the forward and a deal has now been agreed.

Nwaneri will undergo a medical today.

Everton are close to completing another season-long loan deal for Jack Grealish. The deal has been agreed with Manchester City and formalities are expected to be completed before the deadline.

The 20-year-old scored two goals and assisted six times in 22 games for Everton before a foot injury and surgery kept him out for the rest of the season.

Everton have agreed a £40m deal for Monaco forward Folarin Balogun.

The Toffees want to strengthen their forward line before Tuesday's transfer deadline, with Balogun, 25, and Tottenham's Richarlison among their targets.

Brazil forward Richarlison, 29, is believed to have reservations about returning to Everton, the club he left to join Spurs in 2022.

But Everton have pressed ahead with their interest in United States striker Balogun, who left boyhood club Arsenal to join French side Monaco in 2023.

Balogun has scored 31 goals in 91 matches across all competitions for the Ligue 1 team, while he has 12 goals from 31 caps for the USA.

Balogun was at the centre of a major controversy during this summer's World Cup, after he was dismissed for serious foul play against Bosnia-Herzegovina in the last 32 match and should have received an automatic suspension.

However, Fifa's disciplinary committee suspended his ban for a year - a decision that prompted widespread condemnation, particularly when it emerged US President Donald Trump and White House officials had lobbied football's world governing body about the American's sanction., external

Hull City have agreed a £22m package to sign Everton midfielder Tim Iroegbunam.

The 23-year-old is poised to leave Hill Dickinson Stadium for an initial £13m, although the fee could rise by a further £9m with add-ons.

Iroegbunam, who joined Everton from Aston Villa for £9m in 2024, has been given permission to complete a medical in East Yorkshire.

It is part of a busy end to the transfer window for both clubs involved, with Hull looking to sign multiple players before Tuesday night's deadline.

Iroegbunam would become Hull's 13th signing of the summer, with talks continuing over a loan move for Chelsea midfielder Dario Essugo.

Manchester City have agreed a deal worth up to £65m to sign Iliman Ndiaye from Everton.

The agreement for the Senegal winger is worth £60m plus a further £5m in add-ons.

Tottenham agreed terms with Everton on Friday night for Ndiaye, 26, when it looked as though Richarlison would move the other way in a separate transfer.

However, sources are indicating Richarlison failed to agree personal terms with his former club Everton, who are understood to have made a £35m offer for the Brazil forward.

As a result, Tottenham have been unable to proceed with the Ndiaye transfer.

The Athletic's David Ornstein has reported that Everton are set to re-sign Jack Grealish from Manchester City on a season-long loan.

Our reporters are chasing the story and we will bring you updates when we have the news.

The summer transfer window will close for Premier League and EFL clubs at 23:00 BST on Tuesday.

The window opened for a second time this year on Monday, 15 June.

Fifa rules state a transfer window cannot last more than 16 weeks in a calendar year.

Last season, the transfer window for clubs in the Premier League and English Football League closed at 19:00 to move it in line with the working day. However, it has returned to its usual 23:00 slot this season.

The windows in Spain, France, Italy all close on the same day, but earlier in the evening. In the Bundesliga, the window shuts a day earlier.

Clubs in Scotland have until 17:00 on Thursday, 3 September to complete their business.

The Women's Super League transfer window also closes on Thursday, 3 September.

Everton have confirmed left-back Adam Aznou has joined La Liga side Malaga on loan for the 2026-27 season.

The 20-year-old joined the Toffees in the summer of 2025 from Bayern Munich, but was limited to just two senior appearances last season - featuring once in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup respectively. It marks a return to Spain for Aznou, who is a product of Barcelona's famed La Masia academy.

He spent three years as a teenager with the Spanish giants, before moving to Munich in the summer of 2023.

AC Milan have signed Omari Hutchinson on loan from Nottingham Forest until the end of the season.

The seven-time European champions will have the option to make the forward's move to the San Siro permanent at the end of the campaign.

Hutchinson's temporary exit from Forest comes 12 months after completing a £37.5m transfer from Ipswich Town.

Last season at the City Ground, he made only 17 Premier League starts under four different managers.
