Danny Welbeck has just headed Geovany Quenda's excellent cross just wide in the first real attempt of the match for either team.
It's interesting to see the link up given this week is the first that new manager Xabi Alonso has got more tactical having focused on physical conditioning beforehand.
We had watched them doing attacking shape work before this match and using new set-piece coach Austin MacPhee to try out new routines in an open training session yesterday.

An eye-catching start by Geovany Quenda.
The £40m signing has shown some decent touches and that cross for Danny Welbeck was a peach. He's also had an attempt which was off target.

A first serious attempt by Chelsea!
A lovely ball into the box by new signing Geovany Quenda but Danny Welbeck's glancing header is wide.

Former Brighton pair Danny Welbeck and Joao Pedro are playing together once again, with Pedro acting as a No 10 in Cole Palmer's absence.
Meanwhile, new striker Welbeck is leading the line having only arrived two days ago.

Antoine Semenyo puts the burners on down the right-hand side, driving to the byline and fizzing across the box for Divin Mubama.
This time the youngster can't finish it off and he ends up in the back of the net, but the ball does not.

Lads, lads...this is a friendly.
A couple of hefty challenges inside the opening minutes.
Now Juventus are on the break but Tosin Adarabioyo mops up at the back.

Back under way after the drinks break.
K-League try to get forward but Ruben Dias hoofs it clear. We saw during the World Cup that there were often big changes in momentum or tactics following the hydration break.
Will we see that here?

It's impressive to see Mahdi Nicoll-Jazuli starting alongside Moises Caicedo against a strong Juventus team.
He's still just 16 but the midfielder has had a lot exposure in pre-season.
Chelsea have recently agreed to keep him under serious pressure from teams in Europe due to his French passport and he is likely to make his debut next season.

Chelsea are playing in their snazzy new royal blue shirts which have a collar and buttons. Disappointing that Juventus are not playing in their zebra colours. The Italians are wearing pink for this one.
