Everton are so exasperating. Still scrambling in the final minutes when this could have been sorted much earlier. If a deal falls through, you need time to move on to other options. Leaving it this late just feels unnecessarily disorganised.

According to information from BBC Radio Humberside earlier on, Hull City paid £12m for Genoa right-back Brooke Norton-Cuffy.
The 22-year-old is an England Under-21 international.
The Italian side will pay £3.4m of that back for Cody Drameh, who had played in all the Tigers' games so far this season.

"Quite early on in pre-season, I heard about the interest. I was just waiting around, then I got injured. I thought it might have been off the cards, but I managed to recover and get right.
