Substitute Ronan Coughlan's 88th-minute equaliser earned Fleetwood Town a draw with Oldham Athletic and preserved the home side's unbeaten start to the League Two season.
Coughlan turned in Shaun Rooney's shot after Kane Drummond's first goal of the season put Oldham – managed by ex-Town boss Micky Mellon – into a first-half lead.
Drummond's strike looked to have earned Oldham a first league win at Highbury for 11 years.
They surely would have wrapped up a third win of the campaign had substitute Mike Fondop directed a 60th-minute header on target.
Instead, Fleetwood, who have now won one and drawn three of their opening four league games, rescued a point.
Rooney also had the ball in the net but referee William Davis awarded a foul on goalkeeper Mathew Hudson.
A tight opening period saw Lewis McCann hit an Oldham post with a clever shot with the outside of his right foot after eight minutes. Mark Helm was also denied by Hudson's fine save.
Oldham's retaliation saw Calum Kavanagh's raking low shot spilled by Jay Lynch before a poor home clearance was the catalyst for Drummond's eventual strike.
