It's all over here in Leipzig. A dominant display from RB Leipzig as they comfortably win against Union Berlin.

First half goals from Finkgräfe and Rômulo gave Leipzig a comfortable lead going into half-time and Baku's third just after the 60th minute sealed all three points for Leipzig.

Union Berlin looked dangerous in spells, with Oliver Burke causing Leipzig's back-line the most amount of trouble. However, a goal from Danilho Doekhi was nothing more than a consolation prize for Union Berlin despite Marie-Louise Eta's side being much more of a threat in the second-half.

For RB Leipzig, it's three more points on their path to secure Champions League football next season. As for Union Berlin, they are winless in five Bundesliga matches and sit six points above the relegation play-off position. The wait for Union's first points under Eta goes on.

The half-time whistle goes and RB Leipzig have been very dominant in this first half.

In the space of three minutes, Leipzig scored twice, first through a lovely volley from left-back Finkgräfe, his first goal for RB Leipzig. Rômulo doubled their lead when a long ball wasn't dealt with and Brazilian passed it into an empty net.

Union Berlin came close to scoring right at the end of the first-half through Oliver Burke, but his attempt to take it around the keeper is stopped by Vandevoordt.

A big second-half is needed if Marie-Louise Eta and her side can get anything from this game.

A slip from Bitshiabu allows the Scotsman an attempt to run at the Leipzig net. He tries to take it around the keeper but Vandevoordt is quick to snuff out the danger.

Union Berlin still yet to register a shot in this game.

It's going from bad to worse here for Union Berlin.

Union's keeper Rønnow goes down and is unable to continue. On comes Carl Klaus for his Bundesliga debut.

RB Leipzig get going on the counter-attack, with Diomande running down the right. He sets the ball into the path of Rômulo who only has the keeper to beat, but Rønnow makes the save. The looping ball is then cleared for a corner which comes to nothing.

Yan Diomande is having a fantastic debut season in the Bundesliga. The Ivory Coast winger is Leipzig’s joint top goalscorer this season with 12 goals and has six assists to his name. Diomande will be looking to add to this tally on Friday night.

Andrej Ilić has been involved in 10 of Union Berlin’s 34 goals this season. The striker only has two goals to his name, his last coming three weeks ago, but has eight assists, providing Union’s third in the reverse fixture earlier in the season. Ilić will be looking to cause problems for RB Leipzig’s back line.
