Brighton defender Eiran Cashin has returned to Derby County on a season-long loan.

The 24-year-old started his career at Pride Park, helping the club win promotion back to the Championship in 2024.

He made 144 appearances for the club before departing for Brighton in January 2025 but has featured just twice for Fabian Hurzeler's side and spent last season on loan at Birmingham City and Blackburn Rovers.

Cashin becomes Derby's eighth signing of the summer transfer window and will bolster John Eustace's defensive options.
