    Haseeb goes to a half cenury from 79 balls and wafts his bat to the pavillion in acknowledgement.

    Matthew Montgomery cuts one to backward point and the single allows him to raise his bat upon reaching a half-century.

    It's a third of the season and a first of the match from Montgomery and it is putting Derbyshire into a potentially very strong position.

    The runs continue to flow as Rishi Patel shows more immaculate timing, chipping Matt Revis to the wide long on boundary.

    The deficit is already down to double figures. A brilliant start for the hosts.

    There’s been a sense this season that the career of 40-year-old Chris Cooke is perhaps winding down.

    But after only 185 runs in 11 innings before today, he’s shown he’s still got it by going to a 15th first-class hundred and first for two seasons.

    143 balls and 12 fours. It’s been a fluent knock to rescue his side from deep trouble.

    A ball from Simon Harmer gets extra bounce and rolls up Joe Clarke's bat.

    Michael Pepper behind the stumps has to dive a long way forward and can only get fingertips to it before the ball hits the deck.

    Heads in hands all around the field - it would have been some catch.

    Rishi Patel drives elegantly to the long-on boundary for his seventh four to bring up a dynamic fifty off just 49 balls.

    It brings back-to-back half-centuries for the Leicestershire opener after scoring 58 in the second-innings fightback against Essex last weekend.

    It's also Patel's fifth of a tough season for the Foxes - and the 18th of his first-class career. Chapeau!

    Miles Hammond strokes a fine four off Henry Brookes and that moves him to 99.

    And he only has to wait two balls to turn that into three figures as Brookes offers a bit of width and he steers it to backward point for another boundary.

    Off 221 balls, Hammond reaches his hundred, a second of the season for the 30-year-old.

    A good cut shot from Matthew Montgomery off Jimmy Anderson and he would get four, if not for some fine fielding near the rope from Mitch Stanley.

    But it's two to the total and a partnership now worth 51 between him and Caleb Jewell.

    This tremendous fightback continues for Glamorgan as Chris Cooke, 93, and Mason Crane, 54, bring up the 150 stand in 245 balls.

    Crane’s fifty came in 120 balls and is his third half-century of the season.

    Second new ball is six overs away.

    Around the wicket to the left-handed Freddie McCann, he again finds just enough movement to beat the defensive prod and rattle off stump.

    Joe Clarke joins Haseeb Hameed at the wicket.

    A fine stroke from Caleb Jewell as he eases one through the offside for four to move to 16, one shy of a 50 partnership for him and Matthew Montgomery.

    But Paul Coughlin beats him with the next ball going past the outside edge.

    Lancashire need a clutch of wickets in the final session, but it's not happening for them at the moment.

    Craig Overton gives himself a breather after a brilliant five-over burst and Migael Pretorius joins the attack.

    The back of Overton seems to be a relief for Dan Mousley and Sam Hain who pick up a boundary apiece.

    Matt Revis into the Yorkshire attack as they look to halt the momentum of the pacy Leicestershire innings.

    He almost takes the edge of Rishi Patel with a beauty which moves away, but the opener immediately responds with more intent.

    Patel flashes hard and gets a thick outside edge down to a square third-man boundary to motor to 41 off just 35 balls.
