Essex batter Allison signs new two-year deal
Allison, 21, already has three first-class centuries to his name

Essex batter Charlie Allison has signed a two-year extension that will keep him at Chelmsford until the end of the 2028 season.
The Colchester-born 21-year-old came through the Essex academy before making his first-team debut away against Lancashire in the 2023 One Day Cup campaign.
He has already represented Essex in 22 first-class matches, scoring 1,394 runs at an average of 39.82, including four half-centuries and three centuries.
Allison told the club website, external: "I have really enjoyed my first years here at Essex. Now, I want to help us take that next step.
"I want to win something with Essex and, ultimately, give something back to our fans who support us week in, week out."
Allison has also scored over 600 runs for the county in the T20 format.
Essex director of cricket, Chris Silverwood said: "He is a naturally talented cricketer who has worked incredibly hard to develop his game in both red and white ball formats and we have already seen on plenty of occasions what he is capable of at this level".
