It's going to hurt. It's going to be frustrating. Hopefully [Conor Benn] spends some time with his family, but I'm sure he's surrounded by good people.

He'll have a good rest, and then he'll have plenty of options, whether he stays at welterweight or moves up in weight. I'm sure there will be fights there for him.

I think he needs to address the troll [Eubank] who gave him the stick [on social media]. And Chris knows it as well, because Chris wouldn't generate anything close to against anyone else than what he would with Conor.

They're 1-1. I wouldn't mind seeing [a third fight]. There's always going to be a place where a Benn and a Eubank want to have a scrap. I'm sorry, we're all tuning in. It's just the way it is. I mean, the two dads could even [fight] and we'd still tune it.

It's an intriguing match.

I'm not asking for any favours. I'm in the position. I don't have the biggest profile or talk as much as they do, but that fight [with Tiafoe Lopez] is mine.

I understand it as a business, and Conor Benn is a big draw and he's got his shot off the back of a big following, following his father's footsteps, but I think I have earned my position on merit.

We all dream of fighting for these world titles, the history of the sport. We say belts matter, mandatory for the WBA 'Super' champion, hopefully they do the right thing and order the fight.

If you're Ryan Garcia, you'll probably look at what the biggest fight is, and the two biggest fights for him are probably Teofimo Lopez and Devin Haney rematch, either one of them is probably the biggest.

Jack [Catterall] won't like me saying that because I know he's mandatory for Teo.

Tell you what, we've been spoiled lately, haven't we?

Two weeks ago, we had the heavyweight war between Moses Itauma and Filip Hrgoivc and last week we got to witness Katie Taylor's emotional Croke Park goodbye.

And now, we've just watched Ryan Garcia stop Conor Benn in two rounds in Las Vegas.

What a time for boxing.

It's going to be very, very difficult for a rebuild, and where do you start and what sort of level do you go to? The money that he is on as well.

There are a lot of things that you have to figure out here, and a lot of people will have to go into deep discussions about where, and be honest as well, about what Conor Benn can actually achieve in this sport as a boxer.

Obviously, he has achieved bags and bags of money, and it's probably more than what his skill suggests, but he's made the money and he has to go back to the drawing board now.

Dana White was also asked if Conor Benn was worth the money spent to get him to sign for Zuffa Boxing: "Every penny."

Not that early. Is it a surprise though? Probably not.

We could see that there are certainly levels in this game and Ryan Garcia is a couple of levels above Benn. He was exposed a bit. Very very one sided, and over quickly.

[Garcia] controlled that on the back foot. People think that you need to be the aggressor to control the pace.

For Conor Benn, stepping up a level is always dangerous, but stepping up a level against a puncher this is what happens. Look, I've been there. You have no answer, and you're in trouble.

[Benn] showed bravery at times. He took a few punches, got up when it looked like he shouldn't have gotten up, so even though it's a bad defeat for his marketability, but there is still stuff he can work on [in the ring].

The fight might have been short-lived but we've got the punch stats here for you.
