If Itauma comes through that, then we could well be in store for an all-British unification fight next summer against either Daniel Dubois or Fabio Wardley.

Cameron has dictated the pace and terms. She has looked in charge most of the time but there has been close rounds.

Cameron is cut over the left eye but her corner are getting to work on it. The referee has confirmed it was caused by a head clash.

A bit of a slower start to the ninth but a nice right hand from Mayer gets through.

Cameron shakes her head as if to say it didn't hurt. Mayer rattles through another backhand.

A nice left hook from Cameron gets through but she is cut. That might have come from a left hook or a head clash.

I think the fight will be won and lost in these two rounds. Cameron probably has her nose ahead but there has been some close rounds.

Brilliant one-two from Cameron early in the eighth before Mayer responds with a double jab followed by a right hand.

Cameron threw a left but fell just short and a right came back over the top from Mayer.

The American then gets through with a combination to the body. Cameron then responds with a right hand. Another good round.

Another exciting fight that has just been announced is WBA super featherweight champion Anthony Cacace against Liverpool's Nick Ball in Belfast on 17 December.

What a cracker of a fight that promises to be!

That was a good, competitive round. I think Mayer outlanded Cameron in that one with more clean shots.

Cameron's trainer Jamie Moore warns her that she cannot switch off and that rounds are a 'flip of a coin'. He is not wrong.

Mayer is so tough and she soaks up a right at the start of the seventh but responds well with a fast combination.

A lovely left hook from Mayer catches Cameron on the inside. Better from Mayer in that round. She boxed well on the back foot.

Mayer cannot keep Cameron off her here. She is throwing plenty but they are either being blocked or slipped as Cameron pushes forward.

Blood is now flowing from Mayer's nose and she is breathing heavy.

Cameron gets through with a right. Mayer gets off a good jab before they exchange body shots.

You can't take your eyes off this.
