'We help people who get lost or hurt when hikes go wrong'

Over the last few years, mountain rescue teams have been called out more and more.

Emma‑Louise went to Buxton to meet Lindsay from Buxton Mountain Rescue to find out what mountain rescue volunteers do, and how to properly prepare for a hike or walk in the countryside.

The team were also training that day — and they had a very special job for Emma‑Louise.
