Olympian and Strictly celeb to be new Gladiator

From Olympic gold, to the glitz and glamour of Strictly, to the physical challenge of Gladiators - Tabby Stoecker is on an epic journey!

The Team GB skeleton athlete has announced she's joined the Gladiators line-up for season four which is back on telly in 2027.

Tabby won gold at the Winter Olympic Games earlier this year to join the World Championship and European Championship medals already under her belt.

She currently taking part in Strictly Come Dancing where she's partnered with new pro Mark.

But after the Glitterball trophy is handed out, it'll be less about tangos and waltzes and more all about hanging tough and smashing contenders.

"It's incredible to be part of such an iconic show and I can't wait for audiences to see what I bring to the arena.

"Being an Olympic champion and coming from a circus arts background has prepared me for this exciting new challenge and I can't wait to bring my positivity, athleticism, and competitive spirit to the show. Bring on the Contenders!"

Tabby made history at the 2026 Winter Olympics, winning Olympic gold alongside Matt Weston in the skeleton team event at Milan Cortina.

Aged just 25, she became Britain's youngest Olympic champion in the sport.

Born in London, Tabby grew up with a love of gymnastics, becoming a British Schools Gymnastics Champion and training at the National Centre for Circus Arts with dreams of one day joining the big circus show, Cirque du Soleil.

She got into skeleton while studying for her A-Levels, after she spotted an advert for a Team GB talent search. Despite knowing nothing about the sport, Tabby impressed at the trials and began training with the British skeleton programme in Bath.

Filming for the new season of Gladiators took place in Sheffield over the summer, with Tabby joining the Gladiator team alongside three-time World's Strongest Man champion, Tom Stoltman who is also joining the show.
