We have spent most of the day waiting for tennis to return after persistent rain.
After the rain had been absolutely hammering down, now it's a picture of British summertime at last.
Play is finally resuming, with Zheng Qinwen taking on Jaqueline Cristian in the Andy Murray Arena.
Covers come back on after just eight points of play

Just when we thought we were in the clear, the rain comes back out and so do those covers.
Qinwen Zheng takes the opening game, before the British weather does what it does best.
Stay tuned for further updates on when play will resume.
Qinwen Zheng v Jaqueline Cristian
2024 Olympic champion and former World Number 4 Qinwen Zheng gets her grass season underway as she takes on Romania's Jaqueline Cristian in the Round of 32.
Zheng will be looking to bounce back after exiting the French Open in round one for the first time in her career after a stunning collapse, in her 4-6 0-6 loss to qualifier Maja Chwalinska.

We have players out on court for the first time this grass court season.
Qinwen Zheng and Jaqueline Cristian are warming up ahead of their first round match and are nearly ready for play.
Zheng is the reigning Olympic champion while Cristian is currently ranked 32 in the world.
Looks like the rain has cleared up and things are getting moving again on the Andy Murray Arena.
The next chance of play is at 2.45pm. Let's hope the typical British drizzle can stay clear for the rest of the day...

You will have noticed that 1.30pm has come and gone and we still have no live tennis.
Instead the covers are back on and we have to wait for the start of the grass court season a little longer.
It wouldn't be British summer without a bit of a rain delay at the tennis.

We have a rain delay to start things off, which seems appropriate!
Play won't get going until at least 1.30pm but the good news is the covers are now off at the Andy Murray Arena.
It is still fairly grey out there but hopefully we will have some live tennis soon.
Welcome to Queen's Club and the start of the 2026 grass court season.
As always it has arrived in what feels like a hurry, and right off the back of a pulsating French Open finals weekend we are on to a different surface and the build-up to the next grand slam.
The road to Wimbledon starts here at the Queen's Club with the women's tournament this week before the men step up next week.
The Nottingham Open, Eastbourne and Wimbledon Qualifying are all on the way in the next three weeks before the big one kicks off at SW19 on Monday June 29th.
Time for tennis!
