Bradford Bulls half-back Chris Atkin is one of six players who will not be offered a contract for next season.

The 33-year-old joined the Odsal side on a deal until the end of the year in March and has made 16 Super League appearances.

Centre Guy Armitage, 34, forwards Sam Hallas, 29, and Dan Russell, 30, half-back Joe Keyes, 30, and hooker Mitchel Souter, 25, will also leave at the end of 2026.

With seven games of the season to go, the Bulls, promoted back to the top flight last year, are third from bottom.

"I wanted to be open and honest to give them that opportunity to find something instead of waiting until the deadline on 31 August, so we've done it as respectfully as we can," head coach Kurt Haggerty told the club website., external

"The conversations are always very difficult but as we've always spoken about, there are no grey areas at this club."
