Bolton sign striker Hardie from Wrexham on loan
Ryan Hardie made just 16 appearances in all competitions during the 2025-26 season

Bolton Wanderers have signed striker Ryan Hardie from Wrexham on a season-long loan.
The 29-year-old joined Wrexham from Plymouth Argyle in the summer of 2025 but has only made 10 appearances for the club.
Having begun his career with Rangers, Hardie had a prolific spell with Argyle, scoring 74 goals across two loan spells and a permanent stint with the club between 2020 and 2025.
His move to Bolton means he is reunited with Steven Schumacher, who he played under at Plymouth during their League One title-winning 2022-23 campaign.
"He was one of the reasons I went to Plymouth and one of the reasons why I did so well there," Hardie told the club website., external
"We've had promotions together and we've done well in the Championship at parts before he left. So, yeah, he's a massive part in it and I'm looking forward to working with him again."
Hardie spent time on loan with Huddersfield Town during the latter half of last season, scoring twice in six appearances.
However, the former Scotland U21 international did miss part of Wrexham's pre-season because of injury and was ruled out of their tour to America.
