Peterborough United have signed winger Ethan Williams and forward Vernon Masara for undisclosed fees.
Posh said the fee paid to Manchester United for Williams was "sizeable". The 20-year-old as recently part of the Red Devils' pre-season tour of Finland, Norway and Sweden.
Williams did not make a senior start for the Premier League club, but previously spent time on loan at League Two Cheltenham Town and most recently Scottish Premiership outfit Falkirk, where he made 22 appearances last season.
Both Williams and 19-year-old Masara, who joins from Burnley, have signed long-term deals, the League One club said.
Peterborough boss Luke Williams said Masara - a product of the Clarets' academy who is yet to make an EFL appearance - could play "across the attacking positions", adding that winger Williams was "quick, direct and will be a threat"
Despite failing to make a breakthrough at Old Trafford, Williams said he was looking forward to a fresh start at the League One outfit.
He said: "I have enjoyed my time at [Manchester] United and it's always tough to leave a place like that, but there comes a time in your career where you have to make tough decisions to develop yourself and Peterborough is renowned for helping younger players."
