Craig McLeish has been rewarded for steering St Mirren to Premiership survival by landing the manager's job on a three-year deal.

It completes a swift rise to prominence for the 36-year-old former academy coach and player pathway manager, who had 12 games in charge - winning four - last season.

Is McLeish the right choice? Or should Saints have sought a more experienced boss?
