A Freedom of Information request by the BBC has found that nearly 1,000 offences have been linked to Essex's 10 most prolific shoplifting suspects. Meanwhile, BBC analysis of Home Office data shows Southend has the highest shoplifting figures in Essex over the last financial year. But what happens to the stolen goods?
