The father of a Hartlepool girl who went missing more than 40 years ago says a scammer is trying to ‘’make money out of his misery" by pretending to be his daughter claiming they need the money to travel to the UK for a DNA test to prove their identity. Katrice Lee vanished from a supermarket near a British army base in Paderborn in Germany, on her second birthday in 1981. Now he says an American scammer is pretending to be his daughter and has set up a fundraising page online.
